Employment and migration records 1900-1939.

Series documents the work of the Planning Board, primarily through a series of studies, to examine trends in employment and migration and make recommendations based on these findings. Records include correspondence, lists, graphs, tables, proposals, reports, and maps. Topics include homesteading, agricultural labor, industrial labor, school censuses, migration, resettlement, and federal employment. Most of the records relate to the period from 1934 to 1939, however, some of the data dates to 1900.
